Dial 2.0 UpdateDial 2.0 further reopens Arapahoe County
Last week, Governor Polis announced an updated version of Colorado’s dial dashboard, dubbed Dial 2.0. Since last year the state has been moving counties up and down the dial based on COVID case rates, hospital capacities and other trends.

These guidelines have tried to help the public understand how each region’s status and behaviors were affecting their place on the dial—and therefore, how open (or not) their communities and businesses could be at any given time. They also were used to show people how practices such as mask-wearing and social distancing could help improve communities’ position on the dial.

Vaccination ResourcesVaccine distribution improving but still challenging
Although the new presidential administration in Washington, DC has made the rollout of the COVID vaccines a top priority, numerous distribution hurdles remain.

As state and local agencies and providers struggle with an inconsistent federal supply chain, they’re continuing to put policies and vaccination centers in place for when new vaccine doses do arrive. Arapahoe County residents and business owners should visit the Tri-County Health Department’s vaccine information page to get information about vaccination progress—another 32,000 doses were administered this week—to find a provider, or to figure out how to get yourself or a loved one scheduled for an appointment.

 

Colorado County Clerks Association offering scholarships 

The Colorado County Clerks Association is awarding scholarships to outstanding highClerks association
school seniors who demonstrate service to their community. 

The 2021 CCCA Scholarship Program will award one-time regional scholarships in the amount of $1,000 or $500 to eligible students across the state. Applicants must be a high school senior with a grade point average of 3.25 or higher; winners will be selected based on participation in extracurricular and community service activities as well as demonstrated financial need.
