Thank you for all those that attended the November 19th BBQ.
At this event, the Board also began giving out gently used Pool/Patio Furniture (including matching tables, chairs, chaise lounges)... for any Home Owner interested in obtaining some of this furniture before we donate to other charities, please contact Shane Lussier at shane@cchoapros.com expressing interest, and he can coordinate opportunity to review and obtain.
In regards to the pool, rust abatement work has been completed and past all City and Engineer inspections/reviews. The Board is also reviewing pool-deck concrete repair, and are currently reviewing contractors to have work begin late winter, and to be completed prior to pool opening May 2017.
At the 2016 Annual Owners meeting, a topic was brought to the Board in regards to possibly removing lifeguards as most other communities have done to save monies and remove liability concerns. The Board then reached out to owners with the most recent newsletter and again at the BBQ event. The Majority of owners that replied on this topic were in heavy favor of maintaining lifeguards. The Board will continue that practice. Again, 2017 will have a full pool season complete with lifeguards.
The Board is also still reviewing the topic of pool hours...conversation for this will continue up to opening 2017 in monthly Board meetings on the Second Tuesday of the month beginning January.
The Board has appointed Deb Herbst to serve on the ACC (Architectural Control Committee) as Dave Neidlinger has stepped down to after many years of Volunteer work. Deb will join Diana Hughes and Jessica Holland.
The Board also recently appointed Dawn Stickler to serve on the Board of Directors through Perry Braun's remaining term through 2017 has Perry has relocated to out of state.
