February 22, 2016 – Metro Wastewater Reclamation District’s Pipeline Maintenance Project continues on schedule in western Aurora.

Construction has now been substantially completed at four of the project’s six total worksites. Most recently in the area of Dayton Street and Mississippi Avenue, where work to remove equipment, re-pave roadways and restore the site to preconstruction conditions is underway.

As installation crews move to the next worksite, activities on Dayton Street between Mexico Avenue and Parker Road will begin to increase this week. Short-term road/lane closures and/or traffic detours will be posted as work is completed over the next several weeks.

Additional information is available in the attached fact sheet and will continue to be provided at key milestones throughout the project. For more information please visit www.metrowastewater.com or call (303) 286-3229.

The Metro District is committed to completing this routine maintenance project safely, efficiently and with minimal disturbance to local businesses, residents and visitors.
